I was looking for the address for the Sisters in Marlboro when I came upon the obituary for Sister Theophane.  My sincerest sympathy to all of you wonderful Sisters - my friends from Madonna Heights.  Sister Theophane was such a lovely person.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sr. Theophane several times when my friend Barbara and I drove Fr. Anthony from Yulan NY to Marlboro to visit his sister, Sr. Felicia.  He always brought homemade pickles for Sr. Theophane because she loved them.  He also brought his homemade Irish whiskey cake for all the sisters to share.  I was impressed with Sr. Theophane's graciousness and her wonderful sense of humor....it was a pleasure to have known her.

Condolences to her family and all the Sisters at Good Shepherd Center....
