Deepest sympathies to the Gadoury family and the Sister's of Saint Anne. I feel so fortunate to have been a student of Sr. Rose at St John's seminary and to participate in her study groups and to work with her in spiritual direction. She was such an amazing role model for me of a joy, kindness and strength. I hope to carry forth some of what she has given to me.

On my 45th birthday, she gave me a poem by Sister Imelda Cooper, SC, which captures for me the spirit of Rose Clarisse....

She is a valiant woman
her roots are firmly planted
the kingdom is within her
her heart is treasured - filled.

She is a joyful woman
for whom laughter is no stranger
a song to sing - a smile to give
a hand clasp --- an embrace

She is a sturdy woman
whose heart and arms withstand
the pressures and the worries
that each day unfolds.

She is a patient woman
waiting through storm and night
for new life, new growth, rich harvest

She is a loving woman
ever giving and forgiving
ever caring and concerned.

She is a sharing woman
who with arms outstretched
gives her gifts and treasures
to those both near and far.

She is a kingdom woman
her vision reaches out
to the heartland for all people
a heartland beyond time.

Sister Rose Clarisse has certainly left a great legacy in her life and ministry. As I read her Obituary, I gave thanks for her vocation and for all the lives that
she touched as a Sister of St Anne. She had a very significant impact in my vocation and my year in the Novitiate. I never forgot her words and have carried them all through my years in the Franciscan Order... the week before our First Profession of Vows, she said, "Next Saturday, Novitiate comes to an end and you will profess Vows...but remember, it is only beginning... it is remembering each day...." I have take those words with me. Sister is resting in peace ..a high place in Heaven,...enjoying the reward of her dedicated life and ministry.... Well done, Good and Faithful Servant! With prayerful sympathy,
Brother John Maganzini, OFM/St Anthony Shrine, Boston, MA

The extent of Sister Rose Clarisse's influence on others would be almost impossible to measure, but it is indeed great and gifted. I share with so many others her wisdom, heartfelt guidance, and sense of what is truly spiritual. Sister Rose is one to be emulated in her kindness and graciousness. In person, her soul helped us to know the joy of the Lord and what it is to serve in his name.

Sincere sympathies to the Gadoury family & the Community of the Sisters of Ste-Anne. Sr Rose Clarisse certainly was an outstanding person. I was a member of her Glee Club & Pipers at Holy Name High School. We then had the honour of her presence at our 45th high school reunion in 2012. A truly remarkable lady.
