Marlborough- Greg P. Szretter, 43, of Worcester and formerly of Marlborough died Sunday July 3, 2016 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center after a severe illness. He was born in Framingham, raised and educated in Marlborough, the son of the late Ronald J. Szretter and Paulette (Szretter) Licketto of Lugoff, SC. He worked as a HVAC technician throughout the MetroWest area for over 25 years. Greg enjoyed fishing, camping and martial arts. Greg loved music, especially "The Doors".

Besides his mother, he leaves his sons that he had with his former wife Patti L. (Szretter) Tucci - Ryan, Logan and Logan’s fiancée Katrina, Christian and Devan Szretter all of Hudson; a brother Gary E. Szretter of Alabama and a sister Debora L. Szretter of Merrimack, NH; his fiancée Marie J. Hagerty of Worcester with whom he lived; two grandchildren, Keagan Hagerty and Megan E. Lamica both of Southbridge; a step-son Jarred W. Hagerty of Southbridge; two nephews, Brendan and Ronald Szretter; many aunts, uncles and cousins. In the words of Greg P. Szretter ~ “Blessed Be”

Calling hours will be held Wednesday July 6 from 5-7 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. A Celebration of Greg’s life will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
