Sister Joan and I worked together in the early 1950s. The friendship we formed then strengthened during the years. She will always be remembered in my prayers.
Sincerely, Ursula

Sr. Joan made me laugh. I was so happy to live with her and call her sister - even for a short while. I shared in her humor, sing-song, poetry, prayer, Jeopardy, handkerchiefs, bird walks, and Tupperware decanter to just the right size! Joan's assister role in my journey is now from her in apple-pie order place in heaven. LUMU, Theresa

This is my 22 year of service at the high school and I have been blessed with the presence of Sr. Joan. You see, Sr. Joan was in charge of the Hand Craft Justice shop and I often visited it to purchase wonderful gifts. She used her talents to create beautiful displays which would tempt the most reluctant buyer. And often would search for my favorite item, a folding shopping bag, if I needed more than one. Please accept my sympathy and comfort from this simple story. She is missed.

To my dear, sweet, Aunt.
You never truelly appreciate someone until they're taken from you. It really was great to be able to talk to you on the phone and tell you that I LOVE YOU. Many time you don't get the chance to tell someone how you really feel until it's too late. So to be able to tell you this has made it much easier to say goodbye. How much greater a gift than LOVE. May GOD keep us safe until we meet again.
As always and forever,LOVE.
Your nephew and his family.

Sister Joan will always be Anne to me. From our first meeting more than 65 years ago, she has always been very special to my family and I.
I was hoping she would get to meet my granddaughter Nora Elizabeth but it was not meant to be.
My daughter MaryBeth Anne plans to have Nora Elizabeth take Anne on her confirmation in her honor
