Patrick R. Howe

Marlborough- Patrick R. Howe, 75, of Marlborough died Thursday September 28, 2023 at Marlborough Hospital after a brief illness. He was the devoted partner of Andrea P. (LeDuc) Jackson.

He was born, raised and educated in Marlborough, the son of the late Irving R. Howe, Jr. and C.A. Barbara (Bigwood) Howe and was a 1967 graduate of Marlborough High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Navy.  Patrick was a groundskeeper at Stow Acres Country Club for 15 years. Patrick was an avid Bruins fan and never missed his grandsons hockey games. He enjoyed cooking up new recipes but always made old comfort food as well.

He leaves his lifelong companion of 37 years, Andrea P. (LeDuc) Jackson with whom he lived; a daughter Barbara J. Nielsen of Spring Hill, Florida; a sister Kathryn Stewart and her husband Tommy and nieces Abby and Tory of West Roxbury; granddaughter Ainsley Nielsen of Spring Hill, Florida; stepsons. Matthew Jackson and his partner Erin Holmes of Marlborough; and her daughter Rachel; Brett Jackson and his wife Liz of Hudson; grandsons Drew of Marlborough and Conor of Tampa, Florida  and Will, Sam and Ben of Hudson

Funeral services will be private. Following cremation, burial with military honors will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Thursday, October 12th at 11:30. In lieu of flowers donation in his name may be made to American Lung Assoc., American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
