Marcia Aparecida De Araujo Gomes, 42, died Wednesday February 22, 2023 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She was the wife of Wemerson Moreira for the past 10 years.
She was born in Barra de São Francisco, Espirito Santo, Brazil, the daughter of Margarida Ferreira De Araujo, and was raised and educated in Itaipe, Minas Gerais where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Education.
Marcia’s dream was to move to the United States with her young children. She realized this dream, moving here 20 years ago. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Framingham. Marcia loved being a mother to her and enjoyed taking them shopping. She loved to help her family, friends and even people she did not know. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. Marcia is a spectacular person, a simple woman, but immensely hardworking and courageous, an example of strength, courage and determination, a fighting woman, with an inexhaustible strength and an enormous love for life.
She always fought to make her dreams come true and was never afraid to be happy. The energy with which she faced life was contagious. I don't think there are words that can define her whole and dazzling path of kindness and courage. Owner of such a good heart, always ready to help anyone in need. Márcia was an incredible woman who marked the lives of those lucky enough to know her. Márcia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She really liked going to the lake to see nature, and having a barbecue on the lake with her family was her happiness. She really liked going to the beach, shopping mall, shopping and going to the movies with her family. She also liked listening to music very much, she was very happy, counselors in difficult and good times. She didn't get tired of fighting to live for her family who loved her very much, especially for their children. She loved helping people when they could, taking them to the doctor, and translating for those who don't know English.
She was very loving, dedicated to her family, friends and religion, even if she didn't schedule it, she would go to church and always bring her daughters along.
The world has lost a great woman, someone capable of incredible feats, owner of boundless kindness. We will always miss her. Rest in peace.
I feel like you've always been my inspiration, especially for those moments of greatest difficulty. I wish it was a lie and you were still here beside me like before.
His strength has always been extraordinary, his courage indescribable. The size of the problem never mattered, but your determination to overcome it. This lesson I learned from your example, day after day.
May God welcome you with open arms because now you are in Heaven without pain and suffering and with the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Besides her husband Wemerson, she leaves two sons, Everton and Erick Gomes of Hudson; two daughters, Evelyn Manzanares and Emilyn Moreira both of Hudson; many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Joao Carlos Pereira.
