Clinton- James W. Pirelli, 71, of Clinton died Wednesday March 9, 2022 after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Jodi A. (Jewett) Pirelli for the past 30 years. He was born in Boston, the son of the late Gaetano and Mary (Thomas) Pirelli and was a graduate of Holy Cross High School. He proudly co-owned and operated along with his wife, Pirelli Pest Management in Clinton. Jim was a member of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Catholic Church. He was an active member of the Harvard Sportsmen's Club, The NRA and Goal. He loved talking about sports, politics and was a dedicated husband, father and friend.
Besides his wife Jodi, he leaves his daughter Samantha K. Pirelli of Clinton, his beloved four legged daughter Gina, and his adult children Robert Pirelli of Boston, Julie Pirelli of Chelsea and Amy Lee of Arlington. Four brothers, Edward Androlones of Florida, Gaetano Pirelli of Palm Springs, CA, John Pirelli of Arizona and Ralph Pirelli of Plymouth; five grandchildren; many loved nephews and nieces; his brother-in-law Erik Jewett and mother-in-law Judith Jewett of Marlborough; He was predeceased by baby Nancy, and three brothers Christopher, Joseph and Robert Pirelli.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday March 18 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Church, 80 Union Street, Clinton. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held March 17 from 4-7 pm in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. All are invited to sign Jim’s online guestbook at www.collinsfuneral.com.
