Gurpal Singh

With profound grief and sorrow, we bid farewell to Gurpal Singh, age 57. He passed away on Thursday October 12, 2023, leaving behind his grieving wife Navneet Kaur and sons Jasjit Singh and Davejit Singh. Mr. Singh was born in Delhi, India, son of late Sardar Malkit Singh and late Sardarni Mohinder Kaur. He managed a successful business in India and worked in the pharmaceutical industry in the USA for several decades. He believed in living life to the fullest and was known as the "life of the party" at any joyous occasion. There was never a dull moment with Gurpal, his charisma and jovial personality was his trademark. He believed in living life like a king and used to dress like one as well.  Gurpal Singh believed in praying daily and was a hardworking gem of a person. A devoted family man who adored his children. He enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, traveling and being in touch with all family and friends. He loved to make his presence known at every event. He will be missed terribly by his immediate family and friends, including his sisters Avinash Sachdev, Seema Singh, Neeru Peterson and brother Baljit Singh. Gurpal cherished the moments he spent in the company of his brothers-in-law, Prince Jeet Singh and Amandeep Singh. He would engage in daily conversations with them and eagerly anticipate future gatherings to celebrate and create lasting memories, as this was his preferred way of forging unforgettable experiences. Gurpal took great pleasure in sharing drinks with them and lightheartedly joking around, spreading laughter among all those who were fortunate to be in their company..

Visitation and a brief prayer service will be held Tuesday October 17th, 2023 from 10am-12 pm at the  Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Cremation will be the same day at 12.30 pm at Rural Crematory, 180 Grove Street, Worcester. The service of final prayer and lunch will be provided at 1pm the New England Sikh Study Circle, 168 Flanders Road, Westborough.
