Marlborough- Dennis Carl House, 80, of Marlborough died Friday January 1, 2021 at his home. He was the husband of Brenda L. (Payson) House for the past 25 years. Born in Lawrence, the son of the late Arnold and Eva (Mazalauski) House and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School Class of 1958. Dennis played football for Haverhill High School and was proud to be on the Hillies 1955 State Championship Team. Following graduation, he took a job with Nortronics in Norwood where he worked on missiles and radar technology. He was a graduate of the Lowell Technological Institute with an Associates degree in Engineering and Northeastern University School of Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Science. He was an electrical engineer for Raytheon for 45 years, travelling throughout the world as a quality control engineer. Following his retirement from Raytheon, He worked as a consultant for NQA, National Quality Auditors, for 10 years . He was a member of Metro Church and The Society of St. Vincent de Paul. He enjoyed gardening, bowling and golfing. Dennis was a passionate and dedicated Patriots fan. He was a season ticket member for 50 years, and also traveled to numerous road games, including all six super bowl victories. He was a genealogy buff, tracing his family’s lineage back to the 1500’s. He will be remembered as a kind, humble, compassionate and giving man with a unique blend of wit, wisdom and humor. 

Besides his wife Brenda, he leaves two sons, Dennis P. House of Hartford, Connecticut and Christopher B. House of Naples, Florida; fours step-sons, Charles L. Guilbert of Kissimmee, Florida, Thomas J. Melvin of Hudson, Christopher L. Melvin of Berlin and Richard T. Payson of Marlborough; three brothers, Michael, Brian and William House. Eighteen grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.

A private funeral service will be held at Metro Church in Marlborough. There are no calling hours. Private burial will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Patriots Foundation Donations ( .
