Marlborough- Anni Caroline Ribeiro, 22, of Marlborough died Friday October 13, 2023 at Children’s Hospital in Boston.
She was born in Boston, raised and educated in Marlborough and was the daughter of the late Gleicineia Leite (Ribeiro) Da Silva and Ronald F. Cobar of Derry, New Hampshire. Hilma Gomes met Anni when she was only 2 months old and since then she always cared and loved her. Robson Santos (Hilma’s husband) met Anni when she was 1 year old. With time that love and care only grew. So much, that Anni went to live with Hilma and Robson after her mother’s passing. She was a graduate of Marlborough High School Class of 2019. Anni was a member of Igreja de Cristo em Marlborough and sang in the church choir. She was sweet, funny with a contagious laugh, always having the ability to make the best out of any situation. She loved to do hair and make-up for her family and close friends. Anni loved to help others and will be remembered for being responsible and courageous. She was a true angel on Earth and now has her wings in heaven. Now, she is in her mother’s arms again.
She leaves two sisters, Isabela and Isadora Cunha both of Marlborough; two brothers, Westerman V. Gomes of Thompson, Connecticut and Sttephano V. Gomes of Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil; two half brothers Rene and Alejandro Cobar both of Austin, Texas; a half sister Fernanda Cobar of Austin, Texas; several aunts, uncles and cousins; two nieces and two nephews; her best friend Marcela Kobayashi and her fiance Edson Vilete both of Marlborough; maternal grandparents Wantuil Ribeiro and Lea De Lima of Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil; paternal grandmother Angela Cobar of Derry, New Hampshire.
