Berlin- Amy M. (Trudel) Blanchard, 44, of Berlin died Monday December 14, 2020 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital as a result of an Aortic Dissection. For the past 13 years she was the loving wife of Gerald E. Blanchard. Amy was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, the daughter of Patrick and Louise A. (Caron) Trudel and was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1995. She graduated from Hesser College in Manchester where she received her L.P.N. Despite her medical struggles Amy persevered, transferred to Assumption College and became a proud recipient of a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Human Services. Between graduating from Hester College and going back to school for her bachelors degree, she worked as a medical assistant and then at Southboro Medical Group as billing specialist for many years. She was a devoted member of Greater Grace Christian Fellowship in Marlborough, active in the prayer group, Bible Study, Women's book club and attended Bible college. Personally and professionally, Amy had a passion for helping others and loved unconditionally. Meeting Her husband Gerry, finding God and becoming active member of the Greater Grace Christian Fellowship had the greatest impact on Amy’s life. Her kind and gentle spirit touched so many and Amy found joy in bestowing God's love everywhere she went. She cherished spending quality time with her family and friends and was always bringing laughter and smiles to brighten the room. Amy had a true passion for many things including, taking care of her family, her animals, cooking, crafting, reading, shopping and going to the beach. She was a true angel on earth as she will be now in heaven.
Besides her husband Gerald, Amy leaves her parents, Louise and Patrick Trudel; her sister Tammy Gilmore of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; a brother-in-law Troy Blanchard of Maryville, Tennessee; her father and mother-in-law, Cedric and Shari Blanchard of Largo, Florida; her God Parents, Connie and Robert Trudel who are also her Aunt and Uncle of Penobscot Maine.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday December 19, 2020 at 1030 AM at Greater Grace Christian Fellowship Church, 187 Pleasant Street, Marlborough. Due to the pandemic there are no calling hours.
