MILFORD - Yesenia "Yessi" Corona Mata, 22, of Milford, formerly of Framingham, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She leaves her fiancé with whom she lived, Christopher D. Monroe of Milford. Born in Zacapu, Mexico, the daughter of Alfredo Mata of Framingham and Esther Corona of Milford, she was a graduate of Framingham High School and the Everest Institute where she trained to be a dental assistant. She was employed at MetroWest Prosthodontics for several years as a dental assistant. Devoted to her family and friends, she was always a social butterfly and made friends easily. She loved music, dancing and was always the life of the party. Yessi was her mother's best friend and cared for so many people, especially those she worked with, who were a second family to her. Her family would like to thank her co-workers for the love they showed her the last several years.

She leaves her four-year old son, Alijah J. Monroe of Milford, and had given birth Nov ember 20, 2011 to her son, Christopher D. Monroe, Jr. Within days of this joyous event, she was diagnosed with lymphoma, and passed away very unexpectedly. She leaves three brothers, Hector A. and Erick Mata, both of Milford, Alfredo J. Mata of Framingham, and a sister, Kath e rin a Enriques of Framingham; and many uncles, aunts, cousins , extended family and close friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church, 221 Concord Street, Framingham, followed by burial in Vernon Grove Cemetery, Milford.
