Marlborough- Yadiel D. Familia, 5, of Marlborough died Tuesday October 31, 2017 at Children's Floating Hospital at Tufts Medical Center after a sudden illness.  He was born in Framingham, the son of Yanett Familia of Marlborough.  Yadiel attended Richer Elementary School in Marlborough. He would have turned six years old on Tuesday November 7th. He loved ice cream, playing soccer, Marvel Comics and building with Legos.  He leaves his loving mother Yanett Familia, his sister Yacairy Mercedes Familia both of Marlborough; maternal grandparents Beneito Familia of Providence and Yudelca Justo of Marlborough; his Godmother Katiria Vega of Marlborough; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held Sunday November 5 from 4-6 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.  A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.  A graveside service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.  All are invited to sign his online guestbook at www.CollinsFuneral.com.  In lieu of flowers donations in Yadiel's memory may be made at https://www.youcaring.com/yadielfamilia-996387.
