Wendy Butler Obituary
Wendy Mae Butler (née Yuskiewicz), 65, of Marlborough, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2025, surrounded by her devoted husband, beloved sons, and dearest friends.
Born on December 16, 1959, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Wendy was the cherished daughter of Walter and Florence Yuskiewicz. She was raised with love, laughter, and strong family values that guided her throughout her life.
Wendy was the beloved wife of John Butler, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and adventure. Together they raised three sons—JR , Bobby, and Alec who were the pride of her life. Wendy was given the gift of three daughters through marriage when Lisa married Bobby, Sarah married Alec, and Caroline married JR. Wendy loved them like they were her own. Wendy was also the adored "Nammie" to eight grandchildren: Vince, Beckham, Vivienne, John John, Jack, Charlotte, Clara, and Nora. She is survived by dozens of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loving sister, Cindy Dwyer, and brother-in-law, Rob Dwyer, as well as countless friends who felt like family.
A proud graduate of Brom's Barber School in Worcester, Wendy first pursued a career in hairdressing and was a licensed barber and hairdresser before finding her true calling in real estate. For more than three decades, she was one of the top-producing real estate agents in the Metrowest area. Since 1994, her drive, professionalism, and unmatched work ethic set her apart as a leader in her field. Wendy was known for her relentless hustle, her integrity, and her ability to connect with clients in a way that often turned into lifelong friendships.
Outside of her career, Wendy's passion was her family. She dedicated her 20s and 30s to raising her sons, often crisscrossing New England's hockey rinks while also working full-time. Later in life, she took immense joy in watching her grandchildren play sports and grow up, proudly embracing her role as "Nammie." Wendy also loved dressing up and heading out on the town and traveling with John and their friends, creating countless memories filled with laughter, dancing, and joy.
Wendy was a compassionate, caring, honest and sincere person. Wendy will be remembered for her humor, resilience, loyalty, and boundless love. She was a patient spouse, a supportive and loving mother, a doting grandmother, and a steadfast friend. She gave endlessly to the people she loved and had a way of making everyone feel special in her presence. Her legacy is one of devotion—to her family, her work, and her friends.
