MARLBOROUGH- Virginia J. (Juthe) Hayward, 100, of Marlborough died Sunday January 13, 2008 in Bolton Manor. She was the wife of the late Douglas Hayward, who died in 1974. She leaves a son Harold Hayward of Plymouth; two daughters, Priscilla Hamacher of Vista, CA and Jane Holmes of Beverly; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Douglas Hayward, Jr. of California. She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Alfred and Gertrude (Crappser) Juthe and was a graduate of Brighton High School. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Marlborough, and was an avid reader, who also enjoyed swimming. Her funeral will be held Saturday January 19, 2008 at 10:00 in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
