Stephen A. Turner, born on March 18, 1951 in Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away on July 25, 2026. His loss is deeply felt by those who knew and cherished him.

Stephen lived a life marked by steadfast dedication and quiet accomplishment. He began his journey in Worcester, growing up with family and friends who would shape the man he became. In 1969, he graduated from Millbury High School and later graduated from UMASS Amherst where he received a B.S. degree in Veterinary Sciences.

He was a plant manager for Woodard & Curran for 22 years retiring in 2019. He was a longtime member of the Marlboro Fish & Game.

Stephen was devoted to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Turner, whose partnership was the cornerstone of his life. He leaves a son, James Gazzaniga of Marlborough and a daughter Kayleigh Harris and her husband Bruce of Hudson; five grandchildren Autumn, Willow, Bruce, Lucas, and Jonathan—brought great joy to Stephen’s later years, each grandchild a cherished light in his life. Stephen was also fondly regarded by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

He faced loss in his lifetime with strength and courage, having been predeceased by his parents, Everett Turner and Ruth (Elander) Turner, his sisters, Nancy Packard and Cheryl Fields, as well as his brother-in-law, Charlie Fields. Their memories held a special place in Stephen’s heart.

To honor Stephen’s life and legacy, a visitation will be held at Collins Funeral Home on Wednesday August 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and remember the kindness, love, and quiet dignity that Stephen brought to the lives of all who knew him. Private burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will be follow on Wednesday at 1:30 PM at the Marlboro Fish & Game.

Stephen A. Turner will be remembered for his devotion to family, the friendships he nurtured, and the lasting impression he left on those fortunate enough to have shared in his journey. His legacy continues in the hearts of those who loved him.
