Marlborough, MA- Sr Rose Robillard, (Sr. Mary Davidica) 96, a Sister of Saint Anne, died April 8, 2025 at Alliance Health at Marie Esther Health in Marlborough, MA  following a decline in health.

Born in Worcester, MA, she was the fourth child of Augustin and Olympe (Papillon) Robillard. She grew up in Worcester and attended Holy Name Elementary and High Schools.  After working as a secretary, Rose entered the Sisters of Saint Anne in 1950 in Lachine, Canada, and professed vows in 1952. She received her teaching diploma in Montreal and taught many years in Canada at the secondary level. Upon returning to the United States, she taught in Holyoke, MA, in Marlborough, MA and in several schools in Worcester, MA, all staffed by the Sisters of Saint Anne. She received a Diploma from St. Joseph Teachers College, Montreal, QC, a BA in education from Anna Maria College, Paxton, MA, and an MA in Theology from St. Michael's College, Winooski, VT.

After her teaching career and for many years, she counseled young women as a volunteer at Problem Pregnancy in Worcester, MA. She also served as a director of religious education, a pastoral minister, and in community service.

She is pre-deceased by her parents and three siblings: Alfred, Ernest and Roger Robillard. She leaves many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, as well as Sr. Therese Gosselin, SSA, her close friend of many years. She will be fondly missed by all.

Her funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 with wake at 10:15 at St. Anne Chapel, at Alliance Health at Marie Esther, 720 Boston Post Road, Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
