Sister Lorraine Pelletier, p.m. (Ronald-Marie) of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, died at the age of 82, at Alliance Health at Marie Esther, Marlborough, MA on February 15, 2025.

She was born in Gardner, Massachusetts on January 3, 1943, the 4 TH of six children of the late Henry X. and Loretta (Girouard) Pelletier. She professed vows as a Sister of the Presentation of Mary in Hudson, New Hampshire on February 2, 1962.

Sr. Lorraine had a BA in Elementary Education and taught in Catholic grammar schools in Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont for 36 years. After retiring from teaching she spent the next 15 years making rosaries and other keepsakes from dried flowers.

She was predeceased by her parents, Henry X. Pelletier and Loretta M. Pelletier (Girouard); her brothers Ronald P., J. Robert Pelletier; her sister Marie Louise Chartrand; and her nephew Anthony DiRusso.

She is survived by her siblings, Anita DiRusso of Leominster and Raymond Pelletier (Helen) of Ocala, FL. She was a beloved aunt and is also survived by a niece Laura DiRusso, a nephew Michael Pelletier, several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

A private Mass of Christian Burial open to the Sisters and family only will be celebrated at Alliance Health at Marie Esther, Marlborough, MA on February 25, 2025 followed by a private burial at Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Presentation of Mary, Attn: Retirement Fund, 495 Mammoth Road, Manchester, NH 03104-5463.
