HUDSON - Shirley A. (Leroux) Corrinne, 75, of Hudson died Friday, June 7, 2013 at the home of her daughter, Deborah, after a long illness. She was the wife of Stephen P. Corrinne, who died in 2006.  She was born in Springfield, raised and educated in Marlborough, the daughter of George and Cecilia (Leroux ) Akroyd. She was an LPN and worked for many years at Westborough State Hospital, and later for the former Digital Equipment Corp. in Marlborough as a technician. Shirley was known for being headstrong, bold, stubborn, and all the while being very loving and compassionate. She loved playing Bingo, and riding horses and motorcycles. She leaves a son, Joseph W. Henderson of Templeton and two daughters, Deborah A. Breen of Athol and Dorothy J. Henderson of Clinton;a stepson Stephen J. Corrinne and stepdaughter Debbie J. Griffin both of Hudson;nine grandchildren, Beth Ann Burns, Joseph W. Henderson II, Jessica N. and Shawn P. De Saulniers, Leah T. Breen, Michael and Christopher Wheeler, Kevin and Kasey Griffin; and a great-grandson Kristofer Stone. She was predeceased by a brother and four sisters.

Calling hours will be held Monday, June 10 at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough from 5 to 8 p.m.  Following cremation burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough.
