Shrewsbury, MA- Ryan L. Buffington, 28 of Shrewsbury, MA and formerly of Georgia and South Carolina died Thursday October 18, 2007 at home. He leaves his parents, Darrell L. and Mary E. (Chism) Buffington of Miami, Florida; two brothers, his twin Bryan L. Buffington of Gainesville, GA and Darrell L. Buffington, Jr. of Chatham, NJ; his maternal grandmother Ruth (Garrett) Murphy of Kerrville, Texas and his paternal grandparents Roy L. and Evelyn Jo (Nelson) Buffington of New Braunfels, Texas; his uncle Laroy C. "Cap" Buffington of New Braunfels, Texas and his aunt Janis Keene of Austin, Texas; two nieces, Audrey B. and Emma R. Buffington both of Gainesville, GA and two cousins, Leslie Jo and Chuck. He was born in San Antonio, Texas and lived throughout the United States. He was a graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville, Georgia and went on to receive an Associates Degree in Business Administration. He was in the process of completing his Bachelor's Degree and was a Certified Gemologist. He was employed as a manager at Zales Diamond Store in Natick, MA for several months and previously had worked for Kay Jewelers in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and Havertys Furniture in Atlanta, GA. He had a vast collection of movies and was a lover of all music and was gifted with a beautiful voice, often singing Karaoke. A die hard Rutgers Football fan that will be remembered by his family and friends as caring, smart, fun loving, charismatic, personable, witty and just the type of person everyone loved being around. Funeral services will be held in Texas. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Gonzales, Texas.
