Marlborough — Ronaldo Bacelar, 60, of Marlborough, died suddenly on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at his home. He was the husband of Valdisse (Silveira) Pereira.
He was born, raised, and educated in Anápolis, Goiás, Brazil, and was the son of Rene and Dina (Marcelina) Bacelar.
Ronaldo was an exceptionally talented auto mechanic and the kind of man who rarely came across something he could not fix. He had a natural ability to understand how things worked and took great pride in working with his hands, solving problems, and helping others whenever he could.
Outside of his work, Ronaldo enjoyed fishing and was a devoted and passionate supporter of his beloved Flamengo. He loved showing off this ability, often amazing family and friends with how quickly he could solve calculations in his head.
Ronaldo will be remembered for his intelligence, his remarkable ability to fix just about anything, and the simple things that brought him happiness — fishing, cheering on Flamengo, and spending time with those around him. His talents, his personality, and the many memories he created will continue to live on through the family and friends who loved him.
