MARLBOROUGH- Ronald S. "Shawn" Keymont, 50 of Marlborough died suddenly Tuesday September 12, 2006 in Marlborough Hospital after being stricken ill at home. He leaves two sons, Derek R. Keymont of Mansfield and Nicholas J. Keymont of Marlborough; a daughter Kristen A. Keymont of Marlborough; a brother Wayne Keymont of Fort Bragg, NC; a niece Kristina Keymont; his former wife Wendy E. (Hicks) Keymont of Marlborough and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was born in Dorchester, the son of the late Ronald and Jean Marie (Boyle) Keymont and was a graduate of Dorchester High School. He was a conductor at Amtrak in Boston for 15 years retiring due to disability in 2004 and was a former member of the United Transportation Union Local 898. He was an avid World History buff who enjoyed music, muscle cars, fishing, cooking, bowling, pinball and the Red Sox and Bruins. He will be remembered by his children as a loving father, who would do anything for them. He was never short on love and always strived to provide the best for his children. He enjoyed life by loving his children, and they will always love him for it. He was a mentor and caretaker, whom always passed on advice and shared his wisdom to better their lives. His children were the light of his life and he never forgot to tell or show them. He will forever be remembered as a good-hearted man and the most loving father any child could ask for. His funeral will be held Sunday September 17, 2006 at 2:15 p.m. in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Following cremation, burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Sunday September 17, 2006 from 12-2 p.m. in the funeral home.
