Robert H. Meese, 67, of Marlborough, and formerly of Sudbury, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at his home. He was the husband of Gail G. Breslin-Meese for the last 21 years. He was born and raised in Altoona, Pa., the son of the late Charles and Fae (Harris) Meese, and was a 1962 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School. He received an undergraduate degree in psychology from Carnegie Mellon University and a masters degree from CMU's Graduate School of Administration (GSIA). Robert was devoted to his wife and grandchildren, and loved sports and running. He was the owner of Enterprise Strategies, a company he founded many years ago, and was previously employed in the marketing department of the former Digital Equipment Corporation for more than 20 years. He leaves two stepsons, Stephen M. Breslin of Ludlow, and Michael J. Breslin of Midland, Canada; a brother, C. James Meese of Raleigh, N.C.; a nephew, Kevin Meese; a cousin, Warren Ferry; and nine grandchildren. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at 7 p.m., at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www. CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Calling hours are at 6 p.m., preceding the memorial service, at the funeral home. Following cremation burial will be private.
