Bob was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and dedication to those around him.
It is with profound sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Robert D. “Bob” Demers, 83, of Marlborough, Massachusetts, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 4, 1943, in Marlborough, Bob was the son of Oliver and Emma (Blanchette) Demers. A lifelong resident of Marlborough, he spent several years working at Marlborough Foundry before joining Kittredge & Sons/K-Tron, also in Marlborough, where he dedicated 43 years of loyal service. Bob was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and dedication to those around him.
On April 6, 1996, Bob married the love of his life, Kathleen “Kathy” Demers. Together, they shared more than 30 years of love, companionship, laughter, and cherished memories, building a family rooted in love, hard work, and devotion to one another.
Bob will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, faith, and unwavering devotion to his family. He had a tremendous sense of humor and a quick wit, and he was never at a loss for words. His ability to make others laugh and bring a smile to those around him was one of his many endearing qualities. Bob had a way of making ordinary moments memorable, and his laughter and quick comebacks will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

He loved solving puzzles, playing games with his family, and listening to his favorite musical legends, Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. Whether working with his hands, sharing a laugh, or simply spending time with loved ones, Bob found his greatest happiness in life's simple pleasures.
Above all, Bob cherished his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kathy Demers; his children, Christine Demers and her partner, Lenny Hodgdon; Coralee Halliday and her husband, John; Don Demers; Rosemarie Rizzuto and her husband, Robert; Christina Favreau and her partner, CJ Doyle; Marybeth Cashen and her partner, Steve Boyer; and Edward Favreau and his wife, Terry.
