Obituary

MARLBOROUGH- Robert F. "Bubba" Colena, Sr. 76, of Marlborough and formerly of Hudson died Monday June 19, 2006 at Wingate of Sudbury. His wife, Ruth E. (McNeil) Colena died November 11, 2000. He leaves two sons, Robert F. Colena, Jr. of Shrewsbury and Kevin A. Colena of Oxford; three daughters, Sheryle A. Seskevich of Framingham, Pamela J. LaRosee of Hudson and Kelli M. Colena of Hudson; a sister Barbara Stivers of Marlborough; four grandsons, five granddaughters, many nephews and nieces and his former wife Katherine E. (Bushey) Donley He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Colena and a sister Doris Leazer both of Marlborough. He was born and raised in Marlborough the son of the late Michael and Clarissa (Naughler) Colena and lived in Hudson for many years before returning to Marlborough. He was a graduate of Marlborough High School Class of 1949. Mr. Colena was a sulfur treater at Bay State Abrasives in Westborough for 30 years and previously worked at Deer Foot Farms in Southborough for 20 years. Prior to his health deteriorating, he worked for H. LaRosee & Sons of Hudson for 10 years. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed bowling during the earlier years of his life. His funeral will be held Friday June 23, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held Thursday June 22 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
