Obituary

MARLBOROUGH - Robert A. Boule, 78, of Marlborough, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at Bolton Manor with his family by his side. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Farley) Boule for the past 56 years. Born, raised and educated in Marlborough, the son of Ulrich and Alice (Grenier) Boule, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Boule was a foreman at General Motors in Framingham for 31 years before retiring in 1990, and was a member of United Auto Workers. As a young man, he coached his sons in Little League. He enjoyed cooking, traveling, and the Red Sox and Patriots. He was a devoted and loving husband, and a wonderful father and grandfather. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Robert U. Boule of Marlborough, Paul V. Boule of Hudson, and a daughter, Roxanne M. Seagrave of Marlborough; a sister, Phyllis Christo of Marlborough; two grandsons and four granddaughters; and two nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m., at St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway Street, Marlborough. Burial with military honors will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street. Calling hours will be held Monday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
