MARLBOROUGH- Robert B. "Rob" Adams, 36 of Marlborough died Sunday July 2, 2006 at his home. He was the son of Robert B. Adams of Marlborough and the late Rosemary (Lyons) Adams who died last year. He leaves his brother Mark W. Adams of Mansfield, and his wife, Annemarie.; three nieces, Olivia, Grace and Ava Adams all of Mansfield; many uncles & aunts and cousins. He was born in Boston and raised and educated in Marlborough. Following high school, he played professional hockey in the Canadian Junior Hockey League for the Messena Turbines. He was as a flooring installer for Touchdown Carpet and Home Depot in Marlborough and previously worked at Shrewsbury Hardwood Floors for over ten years. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed fishing and Boston Sports. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a fun loving guy. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday July 7, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Thursday July 6, 2006 from 6-9 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest, 169 Pleasant Street Marlboro, MA 01752.
