Marlborough- Richard Rosado, 48, died Friday February 27, 2015 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. He was born in Camden, NJ the son of Ruben Rosado of Florida and Maria Torres, and step-son to Julio M. Benitez of Hudson. He was a baker for Rich's in Marlborough for many years and also worked as an auto mechanic for several years. Richard enjoyed fishing, working on cars and all Boston sports. He was outgoing, energetic and high spirited. He was known as the clown of the family.
Besides his parents he leaves two brothers, Luis and Jose Rosado both of Florida; three sisters, Mirna Mills of Framingham, Maria Rosado of Marlborough and Betsy Torres of Leominster; five nephews, Xavier Marquez of Framingham, Christopher Marquez of Florida, Luis Rivera, Uziel Rosado and Ruben Rosado, Jr. all of Worcester; three nieces, Jessenia Rivera of Maynard, Jeyris Agosto of Dorchester and Tania Rosado of Worcester; several close friends, Arthur, Wanda, Leslie, Katie and Mary; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many grand nephews and nieces. He was the bother of the late Ruben Rosado, Jr. of Worcester who died February 4, 2000.
Calling hours will be Monday March 2nd from 6-9 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. The service will be held Tuesday March 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. IN lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made at the funeral home to assist them with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
