MARLBOROUGH- Richard J. Cassidy, 79, of Marlborough died Friday August 1, 2008 in MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. He was born and educated in Boston, the son of the late Harold and Marcella Cassidy, and was a US Marine Corps veteran having served during the Korean War. Mr. Cassidy worked as an animal care technician at the New England Primate Research Center in Southborough for the last 31 years.

A graveside service with military funeral honors will be held Saturday August 9, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. There are no calling hours.
