Ricardo Mercado, 37, of Marlborough, died Monday October 25, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Worcester, raised and educated in Marlborough, the son of Antonio Mercado of Hudson and Nilda (Albino) Serrano of Leominster. He enjoyed fishing, camping, sports but most of all spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his parents he leaves two sons, Dominic Martinez of Maynard and Ricardo Mercado, Jr. of NY; a daughter Elysia Mercado of NY; a brother Daniel Mercado of Sutton; a sister Marilin Lara  and her husband Evelio of Leominster; his step-father Israel Serrano of Leominster; his fiance' Lindsay Martinez of Maynard; a nephew, Alexander and two nieces, Evelyn and Arihana.

A graveside service will be held Monday November 1 at 10:00 AM in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. Calling hours will be held Sunday October 31 from 4-7 PM in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.  In lieu of flowers donation may be made at https://www.collinsfuneral.com/obituary/Ricardo-Mercado to assist the family with funeral expenses.
