BERLIN – Regis E. "GiGi" (O'Connor) Bruce, 88 of Berlin and formerly of West Lebanon, New Hampshire died with her son at her side on Saturday June 24, 2006 in Beaumont Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center. She leaves her son Mark R. Bruce of Berlin, and his wife Kathy; two sisters, Beverly Lewis of West Lebanon, NH and Lucille Dimichele of Florida; three grandchildren, Chris Bruce of Colorado and Betsy and Michael Bruce of New Hampshire. She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Sealey of West Lebanon, NH. She was born and raised in West Lebanon, NH the daughter of the late John P. and Claire (Wills) O'Connor. She was a graduate of West Lebanon High School and worked as a Telephone Operator at New England Telephone & Telegraph for over 30 years and worked as the Secretary to the Principal at Madison Elementary School in Massena, NY. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America who enjoyed cats, shopping, cooking, reading and was an ardent supporter of the SPCA. She will be remembered by her family and friends as "the most loving, caring and giving woman in the world." A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday July 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bernadette's Church, 266 Main Street, Northborough. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to NHSPCA - SOS Fund P.O. Box 196, 104 Portsmouth Ave., Stratham, NH 03885.
