Philomena M. (Piermarocchi) Reed, 89, of Osterville, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester. She was the wife of Earl L. Reed, who died in 1990.

The daughter of Luigi and Iginia (Frattari) Piermarocchi, she was born in Fitchburg and resided in Westminster most of her life until she moved to Osterville with her husband, Earl.  She graduated from Fitchburg High School and worked many years as a payroll manager for her brother's company, F. L. Piermarocchi Construction Co., Inc.

She leaves two daughters, Judith A.Grossi and her husband, Joseph, of Ashburnham and Carol F. Sackler, and her husband, Sy, of Marlborough; a brother, Francis Piermarocchi of Fitchburg; a grandson and two great-grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 11 at 11:30 a.m., at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough . There are no calling hours.
