Marlborough- Peter I. Sobol, 70, of Marlborough died Sunday March 3, 2019 at Franklin Health Center.  He was born in Kankakee, IL the son of the late Peter and Angeline (Garski) Sobol. He was raised and educated in Marlborough and was an Assembler in the Shoe industry.  Peter loved baseball, especially the Red Sox.  He always was helping others and taught them true kindness.   He leaves a sister Lydia A. Sobol of Marlborough; three aunts and many cousins.  His brother Jimmie Sobol of Marlborough died in 2015.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Burial will be held in Maplewood Cemetery.
