MARLBOROUGH- Peter A. Pascarelli, 86, of Marlborough and formerly of the Bronx, NY died Friday April 4, 2008 in Bolton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. His wife Doris M. (Moreau) Pascarelli died in 1978. He was born and raised in Manhattan, NY the son of the late Philip A. and Madeline (Ierardi) Pascarelli and moved to the Bronx in 1941. Mr. Pascarelli was a graduate of Stuyvestant High School in Manhattan and attended New York City Community College, City College of New York and Pratt Institute. He was a mechanical engineer for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection for 25 years, retiring in 1982. Peter was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, Self Help for Hard of Hearing People and the AFL-CIO Local 37. He leaves a nephew Philip Pascarelli of Kendall Park, NJ; a niece Elizabeth Miller of Branford, Connecticut; his sister-in-law Sr. Loretta Philomena, C.G.S. of Dix Hills, NY; several cousins, including James B. Derby and his wife, Christine of Hudson. He was pre-deceased by three brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday April 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Good Shepherd Chapel, 406 Hemenway Street, Marlborough. Calling hours will be held in the Chapel Tuesday from 9:45-11:00 a.m. Burial will be held Saturday April 12 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to sign Peter's online guestbook at www.SFCFH.com.
