Pauline (Savard) Saunders, 89, of Marlborough died Saturday May 10, 2025 ay UMASS Medical Center in Worcester.  She was the wife of the late James Saunders who died in 2016.

She was born in Lowell and was raised in Natick, and was the daughter of the late Louis  Savard and Sophie (Indky) Orlow.  Pauline was a stitcher for HR Howard & Son in Natick for many years.

Pauline worked for many years as a skilled stitcher at HR Howard & Son in Natick, where her talent and dedication were evident to all who knew her. Outside of work, she had a passion for needlepoint and crocheting, and she delighted in playing Bingo, making trips to the casino, and cheering on her beloved New England Patriots.

Known for her feisty spirit and outgoing personality, Pauline never hesitated to speak her mind. She had a heart of gold—always willing to help others, offering both support and strength to those around her. Her greatest joy came from her family, whom she adored deeply, especially her grandchildren who brought her immense pride and happiness.

Pauline's presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She leaves two daughters, Deborah Figlioli and her husband Anthony of Shipleigh, Maine and  Anne Boule and her husband Paul of Hudson; four granddaughters and a grandson.  She was the sister of the late Louis Savard of Framingham.
