MARLBOROUGH- Paul J. Byrnes, 46 of Marlborough, died Wednesday December 19, 2007 at UMASS Medical Center, Worcester from injuries received after being struck on Route 495 on December 12. He leaves his mother, Josefini (Schiessl) Byrnes of Marlborough with whom he lived; an aunt, Elizabeth "Liz" Sellers of Framingham and many cousins. Born in Waltham, the son of the late Edward J. Byrnes, and was raised in Medway where he lived until moving to Marlborough in 1974. He was a 1979 graduate of Marlborough High School and attended Worcester State College. He played baseball and hockey during his younger years. He had a large collection of Video Tapes, loved music, and was a avid Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins fan. His funeral will be held Monday December 24, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Rev. Stafford W. Trapp will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street. Calling hours will be held Sunday December 23, 2007 from 3-5 p.m. in the funeral home.
