MARLBOROUGH - Patricia R. (Duffy) Tucci, 73, passed away suddenly from an illness, Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Marlborough Hospital. She was the wife of the late Rosario L. "Raz" Tucci Jr., who died in May 2007.  She was born and raised in New York, the daughter of the late John and Ann (Fox) Piazza and later lived in Marlborough for 50 years and in Hudson with her daughter and grandsons for the past three years. She worked at Raytheon for many years in several different plants in Massachusetts, and for Fidelity Investments for a few years before retiring to spend time with her husband. She had many hobbies and enjoyed crocheting, gin rummy, cooking, and camping.  She became a mother to all her children's friends.

She leaves two daughters Patti Tucci and her companion, Erik , of Hudson and Tammy Doiron, and her companion Tommy Forbes of Watertown, three sons, Paul Tucci and his wife, Jean, of W. Boylston, Rosario "Raz" Tucci, III and his wife, Debbie, of New Brunswick, N.J. and Patrick Tucci and his wife, Nadine, of Marlborough; three sisters, Joann Piazza, Veronica Barns and Rita McDonald; two brothers, Angelo and John Piazza. She was the sister of the late Kathleen McDonald. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday July 13, 2012 at 10: 00 a.m. in St. Matthias Church, Hemenway Street. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.  Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 12 from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
