MARLBOROUGH- O Pastor Jose Reis Rodrigues Dias, 52 anos de Marlborough, faleceu Segunda-Feira, 17 de Setembro, 2007 no Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center depois de um período longo doente. Ele foi marido de Maria Das Graças (Simões) Dias pelos os últimos 27 anos. Ele deixa o filho Jonathas Reis Dias de Marlborough; três filhas, Anna Clara Dias, Adda Grace Power e Larissa T. Dias todas de Marlborough; dois irmãos, seis irmãs e cinco sobrinhos e sobrinhas. Ele nasceu em Mineiros-Goias, Brazil; filho de Terezinha (Rodrigues) Dias de Goiania, e Antonio Bezzera Dias, e se mudou para os Estados Unidos em 1994. Ele se formou em Goiania, e recebeu seu diploma de Teologia do Instituto Bíblico Da Igreja De Deus, era pastor da Philadelphia Christian Church em Marlborough. Ele era funcionário do Bank Of America e Sears Roebuck ambos localizados em Natick. O Pastor Jose dedicou sua vida à o evangelho, à amar sua esposa Maria e os quatro filhos, presentes preciosos que Deus lhe deu. Ele gostava de cantar, tocar violão e apreciava todo tipo de música, incluindo evangelista, rock até música popular Brasileira. Em sua juventude, ele jogou futebol semi-profissional. Foi um leitor aprimorado e colecionador de livros. Ele apreciava filmes, desenhos e gostava de sair para restaurantes, churrascos e sobremesa; fan do time de futebol americano 'Patriots' e nao perdia sequer um campeonato de golf no qual 'Tiger Woods' estava participando. O Pastor Jose amava os Estados Unidos e tinha orgulho de chamá-la de sua 'casa', viveu com o coração de uma eterna criança. Um homem romântico e dedicado a sua família, amava sair para passeios de carro sem destino. Ele sempre soube aproveitar a vida o maximo possível. Inspirava outros a acreditar no impossível e a serem mais do que conquistadores. Antes de receber o diagnostico medico, ele disse: "Se alguém vier a me abrir e ver à minha carne, acharão nada mais do que a fragrância de Jesus e a palavra de Deus marcada dentro de mim. O enterro acontecerá nesta Quinta-Feira, dia 20 de Setembro de 2007 às 10:00 a.m. no cemitério Evergreen, Wilson Street. Seu velório acontecerá nesta Quarta-Feira, dia 19 de Setembro, das 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. na Funerária Fitzgerald & Collins (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. MARLBOROUGH- Pastor Jose Reis Rodrigues Dias, 52 of Marlborough, died Monday September 17, 2007 in Marlboro Hills Healthcare Center after a long illness. He was the husband of Maria Das Gracas (Simoes) Dias for the past 27 years. He leaves a son Jonathas Reis Dias of Marlborough; three daughters, Anna Clara Dias, Adda Grace Power and Larissa T. Dias all of Marlborough; two brothers, six sisters and five nephews and nieces. He was born in Mineiros, Goias, Brazil the son of Terezinha (Rodrigues) Dias of Goiania, Brazil and the late Antonio Bezerra Dias and moved to the United States in 1994. He was educated in Goiania, Brazil and received a degree in Theology from the Instituto Biblico Da Igreja De Deus and was the Pastor of the Philadelphia Christian Church in Marlborough for many years. He was employed by the Bank of America and Sears Roebuck both in Natick. Pastor Jose dedicated his life to preaching the Gospel, loving his wife Maria and his four precious gifts from God, his children He loved to sing, play the guitar and enjoyed all types of music, from Gospel to Rock to Brazilian Pop music. As a young man he played semi-professional soccer in Brazil. An avid reader and collector or books, he loved movies, dogs, cartoons, dining out, barbeques, "sobremesa", the Patriots and would not miss a Golf Tournament in which Tiger Woods appeared. Pastor Jose loved the United States and was proud to call it his "home". He was always a kid at heart. He was a hopeless romantic and dedicated family man that loved to take car rides to nowhere, simply put; he enjoyed living life to the fullest. His family was his heart and enjoyed taking care of them. He inspired others to believe in the impossible and be more than conquerors. Before receiving his diagnosis from the doctors, he stated "if someone were to open me up to look at my flesh, they would find nothing but the scent of Jesus and the word of God embedded within me." A graveside service will be held Thursday September 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street. Calling hours will be held Wednesday September 19 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
