FRAMINGHAM- Ozias Alves Ribeiro, 51, of Framingham died peacefully Sunday June 28, 2009 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Marilza (Lemos) Ribeiro. Born raisied and educated in Fernandes Tourinho, Minas Gerais, Brazil he was the son of Gerald and Maria Inacia (DeSouza) Ribeiro and moved to Massachusetts many years ago. While living in Framingham, he was employed as a painter, and he enjoyed barbeques with family and friends, and was an avid soccer fan, who loved to watch games with his daughter "Lilly". He leaves a son Maxwillian A. Ribeiro and a daughter Marcililian "Lilly" Ribeiro both of Framingham; five brothers, Joelson DeSouza Alves and Jonas Alves Ribeiro both of Brookline, Oseias Alves Ribeiro of Framingham, Josue Alves Ribeiro of Sao Paulo and Josias Alves Ribeiro of Minas Gerais; seven sisters, Maura Maria Alves DaSilva and Marli Alves DaSilva both of Fernandes Tourinho, MG; Marinete DeSouza Alves of Engenheiro Caldas, MG, Marlete Alves Ribeiro of Belo Horizonte, Mairte Alves Ribeiro of Sao Paulo, Marilda Alves Ribeiro of Belo Horizonte and Maurizia Alves Ribeiro of Sao Paulo; many nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church of Sudbury. Burial will be in Cemiterio Fernandes Tourinho, Minas Gerais Brazil.
