Marlborough- Norma V. Chani, 77, of Marlborough died Thursday March 6, 2014 at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. She was the longtime love of Robert L. Agolia for 34 years. She was born, raised and educated in Marlborough the daughter of the late Peter R. and Dhimitra (Malaveci) Chani and was a 1954 graduate of Marlborough High School where she played on the softball, basketball and track teams. Norma worked for Chrysler Corporation in Natick, Mansfield and Tappan, NY for over 30 years retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Albanian Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Natick. She enjoyed travelling, swimming, tennis, dancing, bowling and cooking. Norma was generous, caring and very active as a volunteer to the elderly of the community. She leaves many nephews and nieces, including William R. Chani of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. and Lory Chani of La Verne CA, Randi Chani of Highland CA, Peter Chani of Corydon IN , Christopher Chani of Hillsborough NH and Stephan Chani of Manchester NH.  She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Louis, George, William, Alexander and Kostandino.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday March 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street. Burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery, Natick. A time of visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
