Nobuo Sato, 70, of Marlborough died Tuesday June 12, 2024 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of Toyoko Sato for the past 39 years.

He was born and raised in Nagano, Japan and was the son of Hideo and Junko (Sano) Sato. He was a graduate of Suzaka High School in Nagano and later received a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics from Kanagawa, Japan. Nobuo owned and operated Sato Electronics in Marlborough for 20 years. He previously worked as an electrical engineer for Methods Machine Tool, Inc. in Sudbury for many years.

He was a very hardworking man that was dependable, thoughtful and always willing to lend a helping hand. His stoicism and resourcefulness allowed him to navigate challenges with resilience.

In addition to his wife Toyoko, a daughter Erina Sato of Boston; he leaves a son Yuuki Sato and his wife Jodie Ng of Boston; a brother Yasuo Sato of Kanagawa, Japan and two sisters, Kimiko Haruyama and Naoko Sato both of Chiba, Japan; a niece and a nephew.
