STOW - Neil A. Johnson, 24, of Stow died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, after being stricken ill earlier that day. Born in Concord and educated in Bolton, he was the son of the late Carl A. Johnson. He leaves his mother, Joanne T. (Morash) Johnson of Stow, and her close friend, Tom; a sister, Jessica L. Johnson and her boyfriend, Ryan, of Dover, N.H.; his maternal grandmother, Rose Morash of Hudson and paternal grandmother, Shirley Woodbury of Grafton; two aunts, Cynthia and Cheryl; and three uncles, Craig, Bobby and David. Neil was a carpenter, working throughout the MetroWest area. He loved fishing, golf, boating, snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle, and will be remembered by his family and friends as a fun-loving, polite, thoughtful and generous young man.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m., in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Gleasondale Road, Stow. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
