Nancy E. (Muise) Duval, 70, of Hudson died peacefully Friday October 25, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Kathleen A. Kiki McGrath for the last twenty years. Nancy was born in Gloucester the daughter of the late Mark E. and Alice I. (Gray) Muise and was a 1961 graduate of Gloucester High School. Nancy while raising three young sons and working multiple jobs earned her degree from Northern Essex Community College with a BA in Libera l Arts. She worked as a Special Education Teachers Assistant for the Marlborough Public School Dept, for many years retiring in 2005. She previously worked as a medical biller at Lawrence General Hospital and several area doctors. She was a member of the Massachusetts Retired State, County and Municipal Employees Association, Red Hat Society and Loyal Order of Moose #1129. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, camping, sea glassing, reading books, travelling and especially being with her grandchildren. Nancy was o utgoing, honest, kind hearted gentle soul who will be missed by all. Besides her wife Kiki, she leaves three sons, Mark L. Duval and his wife Annette of Gloucester, Matthew F. Duval and his wife Dawn of Amherst, NH and Michael F. Duval and his wife Moresvy of Manchester, NH; three brothers, Michael Muise of Gloucester, Edward Muise of Maine and George Muise of Danvers; three sisters, Beatrice OConnor of Florida, Theresa Foster of Gloucester and Mary Thompson of Florida; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Sara, Michael, Kayla and Jacob; many nephews and nieces and her mother-in-law Barbara (Callahan) McGrath of Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Monday November 4 at 11 a.m. in St. Matthias Church, Hemenway Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. Calling hours will be held Sunday November 3 from 5-8 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
