MARLBOROUGH - Michael "Mikey" Emerson Maloney, 24, of Marlborough died Wednesday, March 20, 2013. He was born in Framingham, raised and educated in Marlborough, and was a graduate of Marlborough High School, Class of 2007. He leaves his father, Neil C. Maloney and his wife, Beth Williams, of Marlborough and his mother, Victoria K. Emerson of Marlborough; his sister, Kelly M. Jenkins and her husband, Daniel, of Marlborough; a stepbrother, Matthew Jolie and stepsister, Stephanie Williams, both of Marlborough as well as a dear family friend, Christina Cormier; his aunts, Ginny Emerson and her husband, Majid Sairafi, Marcia Chalker and her husband, Wes, and Lynn Johnston and her husband, Doug; his uncles, Kevin Emerson and his wife, Jo-Ann Gaul, and Gary Emerson and his wife, Andrea, and cousins Owen, Sheeva, Shereen, Anna Hope, Jeff, Ken, Debbie, Jen, Jeff, TJ, Kim, Michael, Teddy, Ashley and Derek. He was the nephew of the late Claire DePersia and Jeffrey Emerson. Mikey worked as a technician for Airtek, Inc., and had previously worked as a veterinarian technician, as well as working several years for Papa Gino's.  He loved music, playing the guitar, skateboarding, snowboarding, boating and fishing on West Hill Lake in New Hartford, Conn. For many years Mikey and family enjoyed camping at Strawberry Park. He loved his pet cats and all animals, and was also an accomplished cook.  Mike's family will always remember him for his loving and kind spirit, as well as his intelligence, humor and inquisitiveness.  Michael's family would like to thank the staff of TACT for all of their support.
