Obituary

Worcester- Michael E. Aldrin, 50 of Worcester and formerly of Hudson and Marlborough, died Tuesday October 24, 2006 in St. Vincent Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at home. He leaves a son Daniel P. Aldrin of Del Ray Beach, FL and a daughter Alyssa M. Aldrin of Malden; two brothers, Ross P. Aldrin of Worcester and Craig F. Aldrin of Florida; three sisters, Paula E. Roberts of Clinton, Lynn D. Bostock of Taunton and Gina Neil of Framingham; many nephews and nieces and his former wife, Joan M. (Kochanski) Aldrin of Del Ray Beach, FL. He was the brother of Daniel H. Aldrin of Worcester who died in 1971. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Paul R. and Pamela A. (Washburn) Aldrin, and was educated in Marlborough. He worked as a Handyman for many years before retiring due to disability. He loved working with his hands and was a talented craftsman who designed and built many things over his lifetime. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a kind, caring, gentle and loving man who loved singing and was known for his baritone voice, and had a wonderful sense of humor and was constantly playing tricks on those around him. Calling hours will be held Friday October 27, 2006 from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. A prayer service will also be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Following cremation, burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. .
