MARLBOROUGH- Maryann M. (Sweeney) Bacon, 43, of Marlborough died Wednesday April 4, 2007 in Bolton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. She was the wife of Gordon G. Bacon for the last 19 years. Besides her husband she leaves her son David G. Bacon and her daughter Brianna M. Bacon both of Marlborough. She was the daughter of Mary A. (Bonin) Sweeney of Marlborough and the late Thomas J. Sweeney. She graduated from Assabet Valley High School in 1981 and Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester in 1984. Maryann was a Registered Nurse certified in Telemetry, and worked at Marlborough Hospital for 17 years, 15 of which she was the charge nurse on Granger 2 and was medically retired in 2001. She loved the ocean and enjoyed traveling to Maine with her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and daughter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday April 10, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
