Sudbury- Mary V. (Giallongo) Marrone, 86, of Sudbury died Monday May 2, 2016 at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center in Framingham. She was born in Medford, the daughter of the late Gesualdo and Marion (Mirabile) Giallongo and was a 1948 graduate of Medford High School.  Mary owned and operated Marrone's Bake Shop in Sudbury for 42 years.  She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Sudbury and loved spending time with her granddaughters. She leaves her son Alan J. Marrone of Marlborough; two daughters, Dale M. Gerard of Framingham and Patrice A. Bates of Indiana; a sister Patricia Burrow of Oklahoma; four granddaughters, Dana Marrone of Bellingham, Kristin Gerard of Framingham, Michelle Gerard of Los Angeles and Adriana Marrone of Marlborough; a great grandson, Brady Abernathy of Bellingham.  She was the mother of the late Dana M. and Glen J. Marrone of Sudbury and sister of the late Sebastian Giallongo of Indiana.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday May 7 at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Road, Sudbury. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
