IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marlene Miranda
Assuncao
December 15, 1965 – August 6, 2013
MILFORD - Marlene Miranda Assuncao, 47, of Milford died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at UMass Medical Center from injuries received in a fall two weeks ago. She was the wife of Ary Luis Assuncao for the last year and a half. Born in Lagoa da Prata, Minas Gerais, Brazil, the daughter of Jose Veloso De Miranda and Maria Jose Miranda, she was educated in Brazil and later attended Framingham State University. Marlene worked with her husband housecleaning. She was a member of Igreja Pentecostal Shalom in Framingham, loved travelling and had been to China, Spain and Portugal, among many other countries. She was a devote Christian and very active in her church. Marlene was a wonderful woman who loved her husband and family so much. She was a kind, compassionate woman to the point that she and her husband made the decision to try and save several other lives by giving the gift of life only a few days before her death. Now, several people can live another day to laugh, to love and to continue spreading Marlene's kindness throughout the world. She is now at peace with the Lord.
Her funeral and burial will be held in Goiania, Brazil. Calling hours will be held Sunday, August 11 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
