Shrewsbury- Marjorie A. "Marge" (LaBossiere) Schmidt, 52 of Shrewsbury and formerly of Marlborough died Monday July 17, 2006 at her home in Titusville, Florida after a long illness. She was the wife of John C. Echegoyen for the last 11 years. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Justin M. Schmidt of Somerville and Jeffrey M. Schmidt of South Windham, CT; two stepdaughters, Liana B. Abreu and Kristina Hunt both of Miami; a brother Clifford J. LaBossiere and his wife, JoAnne, of Blackstone; a sister Janet C. Bartlett and her husband, Dennis, of Berlin; four grandchildren, Nicole M. Galera, Gabriella I. Gardini, Juan Carlos Abreu and James Hunt, Jr. all of Miami. She was born and raised in Marlborough the daughter of the late Alfred C. and Della I. (Pezzella) LaBossiere and was a 1972 graduate of Marlborough High School She worked for Coughlin Electronics in Worcester for several years and previously was employed at Stratus Computer in Marlborough for 12 years, working in the Prototype Lab. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting and traveling. Her funeral will be held Saturday July 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Private burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough will be held following cremation. Calling hours will be held Friday July 21, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. A Video tribute of her life will be shown during calling hours, and a parking attendant will be on duty.
