Obituary

MARLBOROUGH - Marjorie (Hauter) Dewar, 79, of Marlborough, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at Marlboro Hills Healthcare Center. She was the wife of John L. Dewar, who died in 1998. Her first husband, Wade Morgan, died in 1963. She was born in Somerville, raised and educated in Southborough and moved to Marlborough in 1960. She worked at Diamond Shoe, Marlborough Wire Goods and Deerfoot Meat Packaging Co. in Southborough, all for many years. Marjorie enjoyed crocheting, word search games, shopping, collecting scented candles and cooking for her family. She will be remembered by her family as a caring, loving, generous woman who would go without so others would not have to. She leaves two daughters, Joan F. Paris of Marlborough and Theresa H. Kirally of Southborough; two grandsons; five granddaughters; six great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m., in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Instead of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
